BREW
BREWTM is a thin, efficient programming
platform designed specifically for wireless devices. As a distribution
technology, Qualcomm provides BREW to handset manufacturers for integration
into their devices. Qualcomm also provides the BREW SDK, a set of APIs
for software developers to create wireless applications that run in BREW's
mobile execution environment.
Paul Anderson has taught
BREW to hundreds of developers in the last several years. He has taught
BREW courses for Qualcomm as well as developed BREW courseware. Paul
has also presented tutorials at the 2005 and 2006 BREW conferences.
Paul is currently
teaching C++ with BREW, which is available for on-site training. Contact us for pricing and scheduling.
Customized BREW training is also an option.

(detailed course
outline available)
C++ with BREW
is a one-day overview that shows developers how to design and implement
BREW applications with C++ on wireless devices. Students learn how to
apply a C++ framework to the design of C++ classes and interfaces that encapsulate
BREW APIs and make reusable BREW objects. Participants also learn
how to implement polymorphism in BREW applications and how to design C++
template functions and classes with BREW.
Participants should be familiar with BREW and C/C++.
